I was born and raised in Tallaght, and my Mum’s family is from Tallaght going back pre 1900s. Great to be back and see how it has become a fantastic developed Village to a City with in a City. We have the best of both worlds when we can walk 20-30 minutes and be in the country side. Regards Gregory Whelan

I lived in tallaght for a year with my family when I was ten for a year and cried when we moved. There were always so many other children for us to play with. Recently I'm delighted to say i have settled in tallaght with my own family and we just love it. With so many facilities and lovely people in tallaght, you can't find a better place to put down roots and build a great quality of family life. This is a great initiative and testament to the strength of character of people from tallaght!

Love the square cinema and shopping centre great places to
Eat we visit as often as we can.

Having grown up in Tallaght I have certainly seen it change from being green fields into a thriving town, over the past forty years Tallaght has had its ups and its downs but there has always been a huge level of community spirit and involvement throughout. I am very proud to say that I have lived in Tallaght all my life, I'm now rearing my children here and my grand-daughter lives at the foothills of the mountains and there are so many amenities for us to use; be it the cinema, the playground, swimming pool or sometimes the unfortunate need for the use of Tallaght Hospital........We have it all on our doorstep!

Well done to all involved in this project to spread the love of our great hometown......I LOVE TALLAGHT!!

I love Tallaght because of it's Community Spirit. In every corner of Tallaght there are groups working with young people , senior citizens, mothers and toddlers, in areas such as sport, recreation, arts, and social activities. We have great schools, clubs and community facilities. it's our Town and I'm proud to live and work here.

I may be from Crumlin, but i spent most of my youth in Tallaght, mainly in The Square. Tallaght is a lovely area, and home to some of my closest friends and family.

I've grown up in Tallaght all my life and love the place. Tallaght has so much to offer and is only getting better. One of the things that impress me about the area is the people..... the community spirit is ever present and the people stick together through thick and thin.

I love Tallaght because the people are the salt of the earth and all the places to eat.

I love tallaght because theres so much opportunity for young kids to learn about their community in a positive way, theres so many programmes and classes for all ages for people to get involved in like basketball, dancing, movie making and so much more, tallaght also holds some fantastic venues such as the tallaght stadium and the civic theatre which hold great events for everyone to get involved in so overall i love living here and wouldn't change it for anything.
